About Us!

The Teen Authors Chapter is a chapter of the League of Utah Writers, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering friendship, education, and encouragement to the poets and writers of Utah. New members are always welcome! Click to find out more about the League of Utah Writers.

The Teen Authors Chapter was specifically started for teen writers all over the state of Utah who are interested in learning more about writing novels, short stories, nonfiction, and poetry, and who may or may not have aspirations of publication some day!

Membership

Members of the League of Utah Writers pay yearly for membership to a chapter (or multiple chapters if they want!), which then allows that member to take advantage of features the League offers, such as participation in anthologies, writing retreats, instructional classes, and more! For adult members of the League, the yearly cost is $30, but for anyone under 18, that cost is only $5 per year!

In 2023, the League is teaming up with Teen Author Boot Camp and offering a free year of membership to any teen attending TABC! If you like the League, after the first year you can sign up to stay in the Teen Chapter, and you can also branch out and explore other chapters as well.
